This page explains everything proprt.app stores in your browser. There is no advertising cookie and no cross-site tracking here. If it is not described below, we do not set it.
Your choice
Analytics cookies are optional. If you are visiting from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, none is set unless you accept. Everywhere else analytics is on by default and you can switch it off. Either way your choice is remembered, and you can change it at any time: .
Declining does not break anything. The site works identically; we simply stop counting the visit.
What is stored
Very little, and all of it falls into two groups.
Strictly necessary. Security data that tells automated traffic apart from people, so the site stays available; and a record of the choice you made here, so you are not asked again on every page. There is also a short note of the page you arrived on, kept only until you close the tab, so that a demo request can be credited to the page that prompted it. The last two are not cookies in the strict sense: they live in your browser's own storage, are never transmitted to us, and disappear when you clear this site's data.
Analytics. A small number of cookies that count visits and tell one visitor from another, so that a repeat visit is not counted twice. They last up to two years unless you clear them sooner. This is the group the accept and decline buttons control.
That is all of it. Nothing here follows you to another website, builds a profile of you, or is sold or shared with data brokers.
Categories, plainly
Strictly necessary covers security and remembering your own preferences. These cannot be switched off, because without them the site cannot stay secure or honour the choice you just made.
Analytics covers Google Analytics only. It tells us which pages bring agencies to us. This is the category the accept and decline buttons control.
Managing cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings, independently of anything on this site. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
